Volunteers get to shop first! See below for the complete Presale schedule. Remember the best bargains go FIRST!
Earn 70% on your sold items! Consignors who do not volunteer only earn 60%.

Volunteer times are in 4 hour shifts. No experience needed. Just show up ready to have fun!

8:00 am to 12:30pm Inspections & Floor Set
2pm - Team Leader Presale (must have presale pass to attend)
3pm - 12 Hour Volunteer Presale (must have presale pass to attend)
4pm - 8 Hour Volunteer Presale (must have presale pass to attend)
5pm - 4 Hour Volunteer Presale (must have presale pass to attend)
6pm - Consignor and Friend Presale (must have presale pass to attend)
8pm - First Time Parents and Guest Presale (must pre-register)
8pm - Media Presale (must have presale pass to attend)
10pm - JBF closes to Presales
PLEASE NOTE: No children, strollers, or wagons will be allowed during Presales. Exception made for nursing infants under the age of 6 months who are attached in a carrier or sling. Thanks for understanding.

If I volunteer, what would I do?

Being a volunteer is fun and exciting! There are so many options to choose from and best of all you get to shop the early and earn 70% of your sold items!

Can Husbands Volunteer?

Volunteer your husband for a 4 hour shift and you will earn an 8 hour presale pass for yourself AND receive 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass too! Wow, that's double the benefits!

You can view the "Husband Barter" shifts when you log into "My Profile" Click Volunteer. Shifts are available everyday from Wednesday, April 3rd thru Sunday April 7th.

Volunteering... What do I wear & bring with me?

Please remember that you need to be comfortable. We recommend wearing close-toed shoes that give you lots of support. And please wear clothing that let you move easily.

Snacks will be provided, but if you have special dietery needs, you may want to bring a private stash. We will have bottled water on hand, but feel free to bring a drink of your choice.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your shift starts and we will get you all set up. See you there!

Don't have time to volunteer? How about Bartering?

For those who would like to shop early and would rather trade skills or products with just a little breakdown time, we offer bartering. If you would like to take advantage of a barter, please email rachelcooney@jbfsale.com

Here are a few ways you can earn a Presale Pass through Bartering:

JBF Promo Cards:
Distribute 2000 JBF postcard promo cards, you will earn a 12 hour Presale Pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Community Posters:
Disperse 50 posters on Community Bulletin Boards in doctor's offices, grocery stores, preschools, and/or other small businesses, you will earn an 8 hour Presale Pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Use of a Refrigerator:
Use of a Full Size Refrigerator during the sale, you will earn a 12 hour Presale Pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Meals
Provide a meal at your expense for 8-10 volunteers and you will receive a 8 hour Presale Pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Packing Tape:
Provide JBF with 12 rolls of Scotch Brand packing tape with the red cutter (38.2 yd) you will receive an 8 hour presale pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Gift Card:
Provide JBF a $30 gift card to Wal-Mart or Office Depot, you will earn an 8 hour Presale Pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Trash Bags:
Provide JBF with 150 13 gallon drawstring white trash bags you will earn an 8 hour presale pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Drinks
Provide JBF with 10 - six-packs of soda and you earn a 8 hour Presale Pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Bottled Water
Provide JBF with 8 cases of bottled water, you will earn an 8 hour presale pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Snacks
Provide JBF with $30 worth of snacks, you will earn an 8 hour presale pass AND earn 70% of your sold items! Plus a 1/2 price presale pass for you and your family!

Batteries

When Do Volunteers Shop?

We have a fantastic afternoon full of presales!

Thursday, April 4th

Team Leaders - 2:00pm
12 hr Volunteers - 3:00pm
8 hr Volunteers - 4:00pm
4 hr Volunteers - 5:00pm

PLUS Team Leaders, 12 hr, and 8 hr volunteers AND their families get to shop the Half Price Presale on Saturday, April 6th at 6:30pm.

The Thursday Presales are for the volunteers only. No guests or children are allowed. Each volunteer must have a presale pass to enter.
